About PGDAAIT and eSagu:

eSagu, the crop information from several farms is uploaded to a Data Warehouse (a Specialized Database) in Text, Photo, Audio, Video format for remote analysis by Agriculture Experts and provide relevant feedback/guidance to the farmers. The students of PGDAAIT will have an opportunity to work with these experts and examine thousands of actual Crop related Production/Protection cases, which is unimaginable in the traditional 'Farm Visit Model'. This Virtual Lab also known as the eSaguClinic is the USP of this course, which enables students to examine thousands of Crop related Production/Protection issues without moving from their seats exposing them to multitude of both spatial and temporal crop problems! The students however will also be visiting some actual farms to acquaint with the dynamics of crop problems during the course. The course also ensures that the students are trained in Soft Skills to be more ready to face the world.
